Just wanted to share some news with you. I just hit a new record sales number. I'm super excited. I wanted to share with you because I'm here because of what you taught me.
Without the investment I made with you I honestly do not know where I would be at this point. When we started working together about a year ago I was literally wondering how I was going to pay for you.
I've paid off credit card balances. I'm thinking about hiring employees.
John gave me the structure and the confidence to articulate my value proposition in an effective way. John taught me there is a process to selling, and that effective selling creates value not just for myself, but for my clients.
I fumbled along the way, but ultimately began to figure it out. I've learned to follow the process, to not skip steps, and not sell differently to different people. I now have clients that are fans, that tell me how much they value working with me.
I still have a long way to go. I'm an entrepreneur and I'm still deathly afraid it will all disappear tomorrow. I don't think that fear will ever go away. But this year I have a new problem - figuring out how to not pay the government all of what is left over (no joke, it's absurd).
